SYRACUSE — Eileen M. Clinton, VP of risk management at Brown & Brown Empire State in Syracuse, recently became a member of the McNeil Academy advisory board at the Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College.
The McNeil Academy was formed to provide insurance and risk-management studies to students of Le Moyne. The advisory board will guide the course curriculum in the areas of risk management and insurance. This is an “important addition” to the Madden School of Business and will serve to educate and train students to enter into a career in the insurance and risk-management fields, according to an email announcement that Clinton provided CNYBJ. “This addition to the Madden School curriculum will be a welcome addition for those seeking employment here in CNY after graduation.”

SYRACUSE — PMA Foods — which supplies cheese for downtown Syracuse restaurants such as Pastabilities, Otro Cinco, and Calios — recently leased a 1,400-square-foot space in the Atrium Building in downtown Syracuse. SYRACUSE — PMA Foods — which supplies cheese for downtown Syracuse restaurants such as Pastabilities, Otro Cinco, and Calios — recently leased a 1,400-square-foot space in the Atrium Building in downtown Syracuse.
That’s according to a news release from JF Real Estate, which helped arrange the transaction. PMA Foods was previously located at 207 Catawba St., on the northside of Syracuse, according to JF.
While using the kitchen to help supply deliveries to area restaurants, PMA Foods owner Jarred Vryhof says the company plans to offer coffee and grab-and-go sandwiches that feature its unique vegan meats and cheeses.
