DeCarolis Truck Rental, Inc. has promoted two long-term executives. MICHAEL J. MARGARONE, president since 2009, has been named president and CEO. MARK C. WILLIAMS, VP of finance since 2008, has been named VP and chief financial officer.
Margarone has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Tampa. He joined the firm 30 years ago and performed in previous positions as lease account salesperson, branch manager, VP of sales, and executive VP. Margarone currently manages the executive team. He has vast transportation industry experience and has served on the board of The Trucking Association of New York and the Rochester Transportation Council.
Williams, who joined DeCarolis in 1988, graduated from St. John Fisher College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance. He has had wide-ranging and increasing levels of responsibility and now heads finance, accounting, human resources, information technology, legal, and the administrative departments.
