PETER F. ALEXANDER has joined the Syracuse office of Cushman Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage Company as a commercial real-estate salesperson. He previously worked as a financial-services advisor with Merrill Lynch. Alexander is a certified clinical hypnotist, a secondary school teacher, and has a degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure University. His focus will be in the acquisition, disposition, and re-development of industrial properties.

GLENN WEISIGER, a licensed broker, has joined CBRE/Syracuse as a senior broker, bringing 30 years of experience in landlord and tenant representation to the commercial real-estate firm. He received a bachelor’s degree in geology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and an MBA in corporate finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack, New Jersey. In 1990, Weisiger began his career in commercial real estate — working for Hampshire Management, Wilmorite Companies, Westfield Corporation, Pyramid Companies, and Brixmor Companies.

Nagle Athletic Surfaces has hired GENE EKE as its accounting specialist. He will be responsible for payroll and accounts payable. Eke has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Oswego. DAVID WOOLSON has joined the company as its estimator. He brings 20 years of experience to his position. RYAN MATTHEWS has joined the company as a technical sales representative. He holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oswego.

Northland Communications has hired five new employees and designated three internal position transfers. DOUGLAS WARWICK brings 18 years of experience in the cabling industry to his new role as service technician. ROBERT PIEKIELNIAK recently joined the company as an installation technician. He brings eight years of telecommunications experience to this new role. Prior to working in telecommunications, he spent seven years working in aerospace manufacturing. PATRICK LITZ has a background in computer science and joins the company as network services technician. WILLIAM BARNES recently joined the team as network services technician. LANCE BENNETT joined Northland part-time to assist with maintenance. He previously worked at Human Technologies and Munson Williams Proctor Institute in a facilities director role. MARC WOJCIECHOWSKI, former materials assistant at Northland, recently started as a CLEC technician. STEVEN CURCIO, former CLEC technician, has moved into the materials assistant role. KARA BRYANT, former network services technician, recently assumed the role of provisioning specialist.
