COSMINA SCHULMAN has joined Galaxy Media as chief revenue officer of its Utica market. Schulman, a Utica native, comes to Galaxy after spending five years in sales management at the New England Sports Network (NESN) in Boston. Before NESN, she spent five years working at Home Team Sports (HTS), based in New York and Chicago.

Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter has hired JENNIFER BALOG as senior director of development. She will oversee all aspects of fundraising for the chapter and its two signature events: Walk To End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day. Balog joined the chapter in July 2019 from Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, where she was director of development and marketing. She previously held executive director positions with the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Balog holds a certified fundraising executive credential. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s degree from Utica College.

Pelco Component Technologies has hired CHRISTOPHER KIP as the new director of marketing. He has been creative director at ChromaCreative since 2004, designing identity systems and creating strategic communications, in print and digital media, for a variety of national consumer and business brands. Kip was previously associated with BearingPoint KPMG and Mitchell Madison Group. He studied computer science and graphics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and earned a bachelor’s degree in illustration and design at Syracuse University.

SRC, Inc. has named DEBORAH SABELLA assistant VP of finance. In her new role, she will be responsible for all of SRC’s operational financial matters. Sabella will lead a team of finance directors, managers, and program financial analysts and will also collaborate with senior leadership to monitor financial performance, long-range planning initiatives, and analysis to support strategic business decisions. Sabella has worked at SRC for eight years, most recently as director of finance for SRCTec, LLC. She is a CPA, received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and her associate degree in accounting from Mohawk Valley Community College.
