SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball (3-1) seeks a fourth straight win when the Orange host the Bucknell Bison (2-3) on Saturday afternoon, as both teams continue play in the Preseason NIT event.
The game tips off just after 12 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and will be televised on the ACC Network, available through many cable and satellite TV packages. You can also stream it through the ESPN app. Jon Meterparel and Malcolm Huckaby will be the announcers.
Syracuse enters the game fresh off a 72-53 win over Cornell on Wednesday night. The Orange broke open a close contest in the second half and were led in scoring by forward Elijah Hughes, with 22 points.

Bucknell comes in following a 98-70 loss at Penn State on Tuesday. The Bison have five players averaging double digits in scoring this year. Reserve forward John Meeks leads the team with 13.6 points per game. Bucknell’s other two losses this season were to Canisius and Vermont, while its two wins were over Fairfield and Hofstra.
Saturday’s contest will be the 11th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Bucknell. The Orange lead the series 9-1. Syracuse won the last matchup, 80-61, at home, in 2011. Bucknell’s one win in the series came in 2005, a 74-69 triumph at the Dome.
