DeWITT, N.Y. — VP Supply Corp. has moved its local branch to a new 75,000-square-foot location at 6166 East Molloy Road in DeWitt.
The new space more than triples the branch’s space, having previously operated in a 21,000-square-foot space at 601 Erie Blvd. West in Syracuse.
The East Molloy Road building is the former site of Borden Dairy, the company said in a news release issued Tuesday.

Inflation and Insurance Rates: How to Offset the Impact
Many industries have been hit by inflation where it hurts the most, our pockets. Inflation is raising the price of goods and services including food, housing, transportation, and medical care.
VP Supply’s Syracuse branch started operations on East Molloy Road on Feb. 1, Lynn Beckley, assistant manager of the Syracuse office, said in an email responding to a BJNN inquiry
Rochester–based VP Supply is a wholesaler of plumbing and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning products; kitchen cabinets; industrial supplies; and renewable-energy products.
The family-owned company serves contractors and residential customers, operating 15 branches across upstate New York and in Erie, Pennsylvania.
The branch’s retail kitchen and bath showroom, called Innovations by VP, currently remains at its 5775 Bridge St. location in DeWitt.
The company plans to move the showroom to the new East Molloy Road location, but those plans are in their “early stages.”
“We were operating out of multiple facilities,” Chris Maroney, manager of VP’s Syracuse branch, said in the release. “Now we’re serving all our customers out of one building. It makes things more convenient for them and makes deliveries more efficient.”
The branch’s newer, larger space means contractors who purchase VP’s products can choose from a “larger offering,” Beckley said.
“We have room to grow, more product on-hand, and a fresh new look to welcome our customers,” she said.
The space also includes a 4,000 square-foot, self-serve floor and counter.
VP Supply has added fasteners and industrial supplies, including safety equipment, in its “recent expansions,” said Maroney. “Our customers are now thinking of us as a one-stop solution,” he added.
The local branch’s larger space “makes it easier” to hold education events for contractors and VP employees, the company said.
“Factory representatives are able to come in and help our folks stay up-to-date on their offerings. When product developments come so quickly, ongoing education is key. Our customers and staff members benefit from staying current on all the latest innovations,” said Maroney.
