DeWITT, N.Y. — Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) today announced plans to add about 100 employees at its Fiber Solutions Center on Thompson Road in DeWitt.
The hiring will boost the center’s current workforce of 380 to 480, according to a company spokesman. Verizon is recruiting to fill 100 fiber customer-support analyst positions.
People in those positions handle inquiries from customers about their fiber-based voice, Internet, and/or video services, Verizon said in a news release.
