
UTICA, N.Y. — Utica University alumnus Tyler Kallasy will present the address at this year’s graduate commencement ceremony on May 9 at the Adirondack Bank Center, the university announced.
Kallasy is a doctor of physical therapy, performance coach, writer, and educator who helps adults and athletes move beyond pain and return to training and active lifestyles. He is the founder of Beyond Pain, a personalized coaching approach that blends rehab and training principles with mindset and lifestyle support to create lasting results. Kallasy also travels the country as an educator for the Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification, where he teaches coaches and clinicians how to blend pain-free training with performance strategies.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 2015 and his doctorate of physical therapy in 2018.
