Besides earning a degree at Syracuse University, Freedman is also a graduate of New York Law School.
She previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District, where she is the narcotics chief and lead task force attorney for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force and opioid coordinator.
Freedman joined the NDNY US Attorney’s Office in 2007 after spending more than 15 years in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office from 1988-2004.
