CICERO, N.Y. — The U.S. Army has awarded SRC Inc. a $22 million, six-month extension on a previous contract to counter enemy small, low-flying drones.

SRC will work on the contract at its facility in Cicero, and employees should finish the work in late July, per the website of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD).

The DOD refers to the program as the “counter-unmanned aerial system, expeditionary, low slow small unmanned aerial system integrated defeat system.”
