VERONA — Golfweek magazine has again named Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Atunyote, Kaluhyat, and Shenendoah golf courses to its “Top 40 Best Casino Courses” list, the Oneida Nation announced today.
Determined by the magazine’s nationwide team of golf-course raters, the Top 40 list is reserved exclusively for golf’s top courses associated with a casino. Turning Stone is the only resort casino in the U.S. with three courses on this list for two straight years.
Atunyote, ranked No. 18, on the Golfweek list, hosts the annual Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation Challenge, a charity golf event featuring top professional players such as Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, and Yani Tseng. Atunyote also hosted the Turning Stone Resort Championship, an annual PGA Tour event held from 2007 through 2010, as well as the 2006 B.C. Open PGA Tour tournament.
