ROME, N.Y. — A local franchise of The UPS Store will hold its formal grand opening at its location in the Mohawk Acres Shopping Plaza, on Black River Boulevard in Rome on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Sue McLoughlin from Berkshire Bank, and member of the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee, will present the “First Dollar of Profit” award to Peter Sobel, owner of the local franchise store, during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to a chamber news release.
The UPS Store offers packaging, shipping, freight service, mailbox service, digital printing, and copying services. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
