ONONDAGA, N.Y. — The Syracuse Regional Police Academy hosted a recent graduation ceremony for its latest class of officers following six months of instruction.
Syracuse Police held the event Aug. 26 at Onondaga Community College, per a department announcement about the event.
The new officers will now participate in a 12-week long field-training program. Under this training, the new police officers will work with a senior police officer and apply what they learned in the academy into police work on the street.
