SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse basketball forward Elijah Hughes, who led the ACC in scoring this season, has been named first-team all-conference, the ACC announced Monday morning.
Hughes — a 6’6 junior from Beacon, N.Y. who transferred to Syracuse from East Carolina after his freshman year — led all ACC players with a scoring average of 18.8 points per game this season. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest and contributed about 1 steal and 1 block a game as well.
The 2019-20 All-ACC team was established by a 75-person selection panel comprised of the league’s 15 head coaches and 60 members of the media.
