SYRACUSE — The secretary to the Syracuse University (SU) board of trustees and the school’s vice president of principal gifts has been elected to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) board of trustees.
The university announced Lil Breul O’Rourke’s position on the board Thursday. O’Rourke joined SU in 1983. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the university in 1977 and a master’s in public administration in 2004.
CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals who work in alumni relations, communications, fundraising, marketing and other areas. The organization serves nearly 65,000 professionals on the staffs of its 3,400 member institutions.
