
HORSEHEADS, N.Y. — New York State Police in Horseheads announced they have arrested Bradley S. Baldwin, age 28, of Elmira, following an investigation into multiple home-improvement fraud complaints.
On Aug. 19, Baldwin was accused of accepting several thousand dollars in payments from Chemung County residents for contracting projects he never completed, State Police say. On Aug. 22, he was charged with 3rd degree grand larceny, scheme to defraud in the 1st degree, and two counts of 4th degree grand larceny, all felonies.
Baldwin was arraigned in court in the Town of Veteran (Chemung County) and remanded to the Chemung County Jail on bail. The investigation is ongoing.
