GEDDES, N.Y. — The New York State Fair says it’s launching a Fairgrounds alert system for the upcoming 2025 Fair.
The state is encouraging fairgoers to text NYSF to 888777 to subscribe to the system, per the Aug. 6 announcement. The system provides real-time updates on weather, security, and other important information via text message.
The Fairgrounds alert system will be active for the 13-day Fair and during year-round events as well.
