SYRACUSE — St. Joseph’s Physicians, an affiliate of St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, and St. Joseph’s Imaging (SJI) announced they’ll enter into a joint-venture agreement to provide outpatient-imaging services beginning New Year’s Day.
The arrangement calls for SJI to manage St. Joseph’s outpatient medical-imaging services, allowing for “a more efficient and cost-effective approach to patient care,” St. Joseph’s said in a news release.
The partnership will increase access to imaging services for patients, according to Fred Letourneau, senior vice president of St. Joseph’s Physicians.
