UTICA, N.Y. — The St. Elizabeth Laboratory, an affiliate of the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS), has opened a new patient-service center in the Utica Business Park
The lab is located in suite 135 at 125 Business Park Drive in Utica.
The organization will hold a formal-opening event at the new center on June 6 at 1 p.m., it said in a news release.

The Utica Business Park location joins St. Elizabeth Laboratory sites at Ridge Mills Medical Center at 7901 Ridge Mills Road in Rome; and at Upstate Cerebral Palsy at 1427 Genesee St. in Utica, according to the MVHS website.
The three St. Elizabeth Laboratory locations are among several labs in the MVHS organization, as listed at its website.
The St. Elizabeth Laboratory works with Mayo Clinic’s laboratories to offer clinical laboratory and pathology services, MVHS said.
The on-site testing includes surgical pathology; immuno-histochemistry procedures; hematopathology; breast-tumor testing; along with gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, immunology, blood bank, and transfusion services.
The patient-service center provides services Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. (closed from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.) and accepts any physician’s lab order.
St. Elizabeth Laboratory said it welcomes walk-ins as well.
