
WHITNEY POINT, N.Y. — New York State Police at Whitney Point arrested a local man on Thursday, July 10, for allegedly making more than $5,800 in unauthorized purchases of tools from a hardware store using someone else’s account.
David R. Keener, 35, was charged with third-degree grand larceny following an investigation that began in June. According to State Police, Keener allegedly used a victim’s business account at the unnamed hardware store to make several unauthorized purchases during the months of May and June.
Keener was processed at the New York State Police barracks in Whitney Point on July 10 and turned over to the Broome County Jail for centralized arraignment
