MARCY, N.Y. — SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) will distribute additional laptops to students in need of certain computer programs and technologies for remote study.
Applied Materials, Inc. — a Santa Clara, California–based research partner of SUNY Poly — provided the donation, SUNY Poly said.

SUNY Poly has loaned laptops to students after surveying students in March regarding special needs for equipment. The additional laptops from Applied Materials will be on hand for students who may need one as remote instruction continues throughout the SUNY system and at other universities across the state and nation, SUNY Poly said.
