UTICA, N.Y. — The Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties’ Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant project will sponsor a free virtual job fair on Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for businesses and job seekers in Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego counties.
“This will give job seekers the opportunity to explore many diverse career paths, as well as the ability to communicate with employers right in the palm of their hands,” RADAR Case Manager Brianne Noble said in a press release announcing the event. A similar fair held last month connected job seekers with more than 1,700 local job opportunities, she noted.
Staff from the Workforce Development Board will be available to talk with job seekers about training grant programs that can help them get their career.
