DeWITT, N.Y. — Syracuse–based Robert A. Ford, CPA has merged its operations with the Syracuse–area office of D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP that is located in DeWitt.
The combination of accounting firms took effect May 1, D’Arcangelo & Co. said in a June 16 announcement.
Utica–based D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP — an accounting, auditing, taxation, and consulting firm — has been in operation for 70 years.

The Ford firm brings two new employees to the D’Arcangelo firm, including Robert Ford, who joins as a partner. The combined company now has 18 partners and just under 50 employees located across four offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida, and DeWitt.
The firm will continue conducting business as D’Arcangelo & Co., LLP.
