SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The board of directors of Believe in Syracuse has hired John DeSantis as its first executive director.
DeSantis founded Believe in Syracuse, a nonprofit organization that says it “promotes positive perceptions and improves the quality of life in the greater Syracuse area.”
DeSantis has been hired for the executive-director role on a part-time basis. He runs the day-to-day operations of the organization, helping to advance its mission in the community, it said in a news release. DeSantis previously served as president of the Believe in Syracuse board.
