SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department reports that employees of two local businesses have tested positive for COVID-19 and is warning customers of possible exposure.
The businesses are Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at 3150 Erie Blvd. East in DeWitt and Colonial Laundromat at 408 Oswego Road in the village of Liverpool.

- Wednesday, April 1 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Colonial Laundromat at 408 Oswego St. in Liverpool
- Tuesday, March 31 between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 1 between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, April 2 between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
“Health Department investigators are in the process of identifying all close contacts of the individuals and notifying them. Anyone who visited these stores during the identified time periods should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, and/or difficulty breathing for 14 days after they visited the store,” Dr. Indu Gupta, Onondaga County Health Commissioner, said in a statement. “If symptoms do develop, stay home and call your doctor for further guidance about testing. If you are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are immunocompromised, call your doctor early even if your illness is mild. In an emergency call 911.”
Updated COVID-19 case numbers
Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon on Wednesday reported that the county now has 422 positive cases of COVID-19, up from 397 on Tuesday. Of the 422 cases, 41 people are in the hospital, up from 38 the day before, and 22 are in critical condition in an intensive-care unit, up from 20 on Tuesday, according to McMahon.
