VERONA — Oneida Nation Enterprises has named Steve Murphy vice president for technology, including Turning Stone Resort Casino and SavOn Convenience Stores.
Murphy oversees the development and performance of all of the Oneida Nation’s information technology, and oversees the IT department. His prior experience includes positions as chief information officer, vice president for information technology, and similar positions at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, MGM Mirage, and Hyatt Gaming, among others. Murphy most recently served as an executive strategy consultant for Microsoft Corp.
Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hawaii Pacific University and an MBA from Webster University.
