UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Monday reported that its number of active coronavirus cases has grown to 590, the highest level in about six months.
Virus cases in the county have been rising for the last two months and especially in the last month. On July 1, Oneida County has just 26 active cases, and on Aug. 1, it had 104 active cases.
The county reported 183 new COVID infections in the prior three days: 75 on Sunday, 29 on Saturday, and 79 on Friday. Since the pandemic started, the county has had 23,712 total cases.

The county has 590 people in mandatory isolation and 1,064 in mandatory quarantine at the present time.
