UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Wednesday announced 10 new coronavirus cases in the last day, down from 12 infections the day before.
Oneida County also reported the following COVID-19 statistics:
- The 10 new virus cases bring the county’s total to 2,082
- 0 new COVID-19-related deaths, 115 total (no deaths since July 27)
- 11 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in Oneida County, down from 13 a day prior
- No patients are hospitalized outside Oneida County
- 1 hospitalized patient in the county is a nursing-home resident receiving acute care (at MVHS), down from three on Tuesday
- 187 active positive cases, up from 178 a day earlier
- 1,780 people with the virus have recovered, up one in the last day
- 78,163 total tests have been conducted.
- 76,081 total negative results
- 187 people are in mandatory isolation, up from 178 a day ago
- 1,026 are in mandatory quarantine, down 45 since Tuesday
The county’s infection rate was 1.38 percent in the last day with 10 positives out of 725 total tests.
