CONKLIN, N.Y. —Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) plans to purchase a 20-acre parcel in the Broome Corporate Park to construct a cross-dock logistics facility. The site has been vacant since the park opened in 1984 and is one of the final sites to undergo development.
“We are thrilled to see Old Dominion Freight Line investing in our region,” Leadership Alliance CEO Stacey Duncan said in the announcement. “This development not only enhances logistics capabilities but also strengthens the economic vitality of Broome County. The addition of ODFL to our community is a testament to the confidence in our area as a hub for business growth.”
ODFL, which was assisted by Montante Development in the site-selection process, plans to build a facility between 32,000 square feet and 35,000 square feet and create approximately 50 new jobs. The project has already received the necessary rezoning and site-plan approvals.
