New York is among the top 10 states in the country for clean-energy job creation in the third quarter of this year, according to an upcoming report.
Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), a national group of business leaders focused on the environment, is set to release the report tomorrow. It will show that the clean-energy industry released news of over 10,800 new jobs nationwide in the third quarter, the group said.
New York was joined by California, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington on the list of top homes for new clean-energy jobs. E2 is not unveiling the states’ individual rankings until it releases its report.
