NORFOLK, N.Y. — The New York State Police say this week they arrested a St. Lawrence County man for stealing a pickup truck from his employer.
State Police on Tuesday charged 30-year-old Patrick A. Pierce of the town of Russell with 4th degree grand larceny, a felony. Police accuse Pierce with stealing a 2005 Dodge pickup truck from his unnamed employer in the town of Norfolk in St. Lawrence County in June. The vehicle was found abandoned on Aug. 8, in South Carolina by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
After being charged, Pierce was released with an appearance ticket and ordered to return to the Town of Norfolk Court.
