Oswego Health announced the recent promotion of ELIZABETH BIVENS to director of community health. She started her career in health care, working as a certified nursing assistant while attending nursing school at Cayuga Community College. Bivens graduated in 2006 with an associate in nursing. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Le Moyne College in 2009. That same year, she joined the team at Oswego Health as a registered nurse in the medical surgical unit, before transitioning to occupational health in 2012. Bivens became the occupational health services coordinator in 2018. In her new role as director of community health, Bivens will be responsible for the management of occupational health, health education, employee health services, and health education throughout the community.

ICS recently announced the following new Central New York hires.
JILL COSTELLO has joined as director of operations in Syracuse/Ithaca. She leads a team of engineers and staff in achieving company metrics and goals. Costello started her career at Time Warner Cable (now called Spectrum), where she worked for 16 years — moving into various management positions throughout the company and most recently overseeing multiple retail store locations as a district manager. After Spectrum, she took a district manager job for a construction support company called Tradesmen International, before moving to ICS. Costello received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and MBA from Columbia College.
COREY NORKAITIS has come aboard ICS as remote operations technician I in its Endicott office. He will troubleshoot tier 1 IT-support tickets, generally involving both hardware and software issues. Norkaitis is from Endwell and graduated from the University at Albany in December with a bachelor’s degree in informatics.
SEAN KALSKY has joined the company as director of operations in Endicott. He has more than 15 years of management experience in several fields including sales, operations, and finance — most recently with AT&T Mobility and Visions Federal Credit Union. At ICS, he is responsible for driving culture that helps technicians develop skills and personal/professional growth. Kalsky graduated from Vestal High School and SUNY Broome.
NICOLE CAREY has come aboard ICS as inventory and fulfillment specialist in Syracuse and Ithaca. Her tasks include the following: maintain product inventory, conduct frequent spot and scheduled audits of physical inventory, reconcile physical counts in the inventory system and investigate variances, conduct quality assurance tests on products as required, ship outgoing products of ICS internal and ICS customer inventory, record products received and shipped, monitor and communicate back-ordered product status, and assist the firm’s procurement department with its duties and responsibilities as needed.
CHRISTINA PALMIERI has joined ICS as a field operations technician in Endicott. Originally from Binghamton, she has lived in North Carolina, Ithaca, and in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania, before moving back to Binghamton in 2021. She has an extensive background in customer service and is currently a licensed massage therapist.
