RACHEL MILLER has joined Geneva General Cardiology Associates with offices at 200 North St. in Geneva and 418 N. Main St. in Penn Yan. Miller completed her doctorate degree in nursing practice from the Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The College at Brockport. She is a graduate of the New Vision Medical Career Program, an educational partnership with Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and Finger Lakes Health. Miller brings a wealth of health-care experience, most recently practicing at Sands-Constellation Heart Institute. Early in her health-care career, she worked at Geneva General Hospital as a registered nurse and a phlebotomist.
MICHAEL TENNYSEN has joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital, specializing in the field of anesthesiology. Tennysen received his master’s degree in nurse anesthesia from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Utah. He will be working in the Surgical Services Department at Geneva General Hospital and the Finger Lakes Surgery Center.

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence, a nonprofit organization supporting people with disabilities, announced that LYNN PIETROSKI, the organization’s current chief operating officer (COO) has been selected to become the next CEO in January 2023. In her current role as COO over the past seven years, Pietroski is responsible for the agency’s day-to-day operations, oversight of senior management, and financial accountability for all programs occurring at the $76 million nonprofit. Prior to joining the agency, she was CEO of the Greater Watertown North Country Chamber of Commerce and associate executive director at Children’s Home of Jefferson County.

Christopher Community, Inc. has announced the appointment of JOE HARRIS as director of facilities and construction. He brings 20-plus years of experience in facilities, property management, and commercial/resident construction. Harris has extensive knowledge and experience with day-to-day organizational leadership and management, as well as strategic direction and oversight on several capital projects throughout his career.

Harris has extensive knowledge and experience with day-to-day organizational leadership and management, as well as strategic direction and oversight on several capital projects throughout his career. A resident of Brewerton, Harris is a graduate of Alfred State College, with an associate degree in applied science – mechanical engineering. Established in 1971, the nonprofit Christopher Community currently manages more than 3,200 units and over 100 buildings, as well as administers Onondaga County’s Rental Assistance Program, which serves over 1,200 households. Christopher Community develops and operates safe, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families.
