Power management company, Eaton, has named SAFFORD HAZEN VP of sales, North America, for its Crouse-Hinds Division. He will report to Scott Hearn, president of Crouse-Hinds Division, Eaton, in Syracuse. Hazen was previously Gulf Coast regional VP of Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds Division. He previously served as the Gulf Coast regional industrial manager with Summit Electric Supply in Houston and was the region channel director for the Gulf Coast with Eaton. Hazen holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/economics from the SUNY Potsdam. 

Barton & Loguidice has added three employees to its Syracuse office.

MASON HEDEEN has joined the firm’s sustainable planning & design group as an engineer I. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Hedeen previously worked as a transportation construction inspector with the Department of Transportation. He has received certifications in concrete testing, soils testing, and inspecting and erosion prevention.

LUCIA FORTE has joined the Barton & Loguidice marketing group as a marketing communications specialist I. She earned her bachelor’s degree in new media marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Forte previously was a digital marketing analyst for ITX Corp in Pittsford. She has also held several internships/co-ops as a marketing communications and community outreach co-op for the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at RIT and as the marketing communications intern at Indium Corporation. Forte has experience with Adobe Create Suite, website design, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.

ANTHONY ROACH has joined the firm’s transportation group as an engineer I. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Roach previously worked as a transportation construction inspector with the Department of Transportation where he worked on the reconstruction of the Griffiss Veterans Memorial Parkway. He has completed erosion and sediment control training, earthwork inspector training, and concrete testing training. Additionally, he has experience with SiteManager, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

HCR Home Care has added SHERRI HENDERSON-MITCHELL, licensed practical nurse, and MARGO SMITH, licensed practical nurse, to its Onondaga County operations.

ROBERT FEENEY, M.D., has joined Delta Medical, an adult primary care practice affiliated with Rome Memorial Hospital, where he and his staff will be working in collaboration with a team of nurse practitioners. He previously spent nearly 38 years in private practice. Specializing in internal medicine, Feeney earned his medical degree from the University of Bologna in Italy and completed his residency at St. Clare’s Hospital and Health Center in New York City.

Carthage Area Hospital announced that GABRIELLA HAYCOCK, DPT, has joined its therapy services team as a physical therapist. She will soon split her time between Carthage and the hospital’s Philadelphia Physical Therapy clinic. Haycock earned a doctorate of physical therapy from Daemon College, Buffalo, and completed clinical internships with South Jeff Physical Therapy, Adams; Samaritan Summit Village, Watertown; Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, Watertown; and Carthage Area Hospital. The opportunity to join Carthage Therapy Services followed a successful completion of her final nine-week clinical internship. 

PHILIP CHIECO has joined the Vestal office of AXA Advisors, LLC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a finance concentration from SUNY Oneonta and also has earned FINRA series 7 and 66 securities registrations and his life, accident, and health license. 

IRENE K. KABUNDUH has joined Bousquet Holstein PLLC as an associate attorney. She is a dual citizen of the United States and Uganda. She previously served as a volunteer attorney at the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga, Inc. providing eviction defense to low-income families at Syracuse Landlord & Tenant Court and also provided information regarding other agencies offering free legal and non-legal services. Kabunduh served as summer intern in the Community Counsel Project of the Legal Services of Central NY and also worked with young adults with mental and development disabilities at Elmcrest.inc. She is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in Kentucky and South Korea. Her education includes a juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law, a master of laws degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, a postgraduate diploma in law from the Law Development Center, Uganda, and a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Dar Es Salaam School of Law, Tanzania. 

LYNNE RYAN has joined United Way of Central New York as chief financial officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and nonprofit management from SUNY Empire State College, according to her LinkedIn profile.

MEGHANN SANDAK has joined the organization as chief development officer. According to her LinkedIn profile, she earned a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in American studies from the University of Notre Dame.

SRC, Inc. has named JOSEPH MCDERMOND director, supplier quality. He has 20 years experience working at various levels of supplier quality management. Prior to joining SRC, McDermond ran his own consulting business, McDermond Management Consulting, LLC, where he performed quality management system consulting and implementation projects. He is proficient in the automotive, motorcycle, marine and medical device industries. McDermond has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton, and a master’s degree in business administration from DeVry University. In 2004, he completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is also a certified quality manger and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
