CLAY — The American Red Cross recently renewed its lease of 18,900 square feet of space in the building at 7359 Oswego Road (Route 57) in Clay.
The building, home to the American Red Cross Blood Donor Center, is located in the Glenn Crossing Plaza.
Brian Balash, of Cushman & Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage Company facilitated this lease transaction on behalf of the tenant, according to a news release from the real-estate firm.
Hiawatha Plaza Land Dev LLC of Beaverton, Oregon owns the 7359 Oswego Road property, according to Onondaga County’s online property records.

SYRACUSE — The Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) recently announced the appointment of Robert DeMore and Bob Andrews to its board of directors.
DeMore, of Fabius, has more than 40 years of experience as a lawyer managing both a private practice and doing municipal work. He is currently the attorney for the Southern Onondaga Trash System, the Town of Fabius, and the Town of Tully. He has served as an Onondaga County legislator (12th District), Fabius Town supervisor, Village of Fabius attorney, Fabius Town Justice, Onondaga County commissioner of facilities, director of Onondaga County Community Development, and president of the Onondaga County Supervisors Association.
Andrews, of Syracuse, has 20 years of experience in marketing and government affairs. He currently is the director of intergovernmental affairs and shared services at the City of Syracuse. He previously served as an Onondaga County legislator (9th District). Andrews has an MBA in marketing and finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colgate University.
OCRRA is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation created by the New York State Legislature in 1990 to deliver a solid-waste management and resource-recovery system to Onondaga County residents.
