CHRISTINE FATIUK has been named nurse manager of AC 3 at the St. Luke’s Campus of Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). In this position, she is responsible for nursing operations including clinical and administrative responsibilities for AC3, an adult inpatient medical surgical unit. Fatiuk previously held a medical surgical staff nurse position at the St. Elizabeth Campus in Utica, and most recently a staff nurse position at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was elected president of the Lowcountry Oncology Nursing Society in Charleston in 2017, and from 2017-2019 she held a clinical instructor position for the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing’s accelerated BSN program. Fatiuk earned an associate degree from the St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education from Grand Canyon University.

JACQUELINE MULLEN has been named nurse manager of AC 1 at the St. Luke’s Campus of MVHS. In this position, Mullen is responsible for nursing operations including clinical and administrative responsibilities for AC1, an adult inpatient medical surgical unit, which includes the bariatric and orthopedic patient populations. Mullen previously held nursing positions at the St. Elizabeth Campus that included medical surgical and critical care staff and charge nurse responsibilities. Most recently she was a staff nurse in the emergency department. Mullen earned a bachelor’s degree from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois and an associate degree in applied science from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica.

MEREDITH BOSS has been promoted to director of nursing at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation. Previously assistant director of nursing for short-term rehabilitation, Boss was an integral part of the planning and opening of the restorative care unit. Boss holds an applied science degree of nursing from Crouse Hospital College of Nursing and a bachelor’s in nursing from Keuka College, and will complete her master’s degree in nursing and become an advanced practice family nurse practitioner in June 2020. Loretto has also hired SHELLEY SCHLIE as director of nursing at The Nottingham RHCF, and ANNA NELSON as nurse practitioner in employee health at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation.

Schlie was previously director of nursing for an assisted-living facility in Manlius. She brings extensive experience in both long-term care and acute care. She was a clinical instructor for the local OCM BOCES LPN program, and was instrumental in opening a rehab unit and developing a resident assistant program for a local long-term care facility. Schlie holds an applied science degree of nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Le Moyne College.

Nelson was previously a nurse practitioner at Crouse Hospital’s employee health office. She has 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in multiple settings, including occupational medicine and employee health. She holds a master’s degree in nursing-family nurse practitioner from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in New York state.

JESSICA REIDY and JENNA BROPHY have joined Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG) as junior account managers. Prior to BHG, Reidy worked in the insurance industry for six years and Brophy worked in the traffic department at a local TV station in Syracuse. CHELSIE ROMER, MEGAN CARDISH, THOMAS MCNANEY, and KEVIN HUTCHINGS have joined BHG as account executives. Romer has worked in sales for six years — previously at Charter and then CXtec. Cadish worked for Pyramid Management Group in Syracuse as a leasing analyst/representative, where she gained experience in sales. McNaney previously worked as an independent agent representative at Aflac. Hutchings is a recent graduate of Syracuse University, where he studied communications. ANTHONY BARONE joins BHG as an accounting clerk I. Before BHG, he worked with Market 32/Price Chopper in its accounting department. MARGARET HERMANN joins the company as a paralegal. Her experience includes paralegal work for Syracuse area law firms and as in-house corporate paralegal for area businesses. ALEXIS BELARDINELLI joins as a social-media specialist. Prior to joining BHG, she worked as a social-media manager and web designer for Roseann Sall Advertising Agency in Binghamton.

Tops Friendly Markets has promoted ANDREW RICHARDS produce/floral specialist in the east region. He was formerly a store manager of the Tops in Walworth and will now be responsible for the Finger Lakes, Syracuse West, and Southern Tier districts for Tops. Richards will oversee all aspects of operations and merchandising for the produce and floral departments within these districts. He began his career with Tops in 2000 as an assistant produce manager. Over his 19-year career, Richards has held various positions including produce manager, non-perishable operations manager, operations manager, assistant store manager, and store manager.

SRC, Inc. has hired LAURIE GLOSS as director of procurement. She will be responsible for leading SRC’s procurement process and supply chain management. Gloss will lead the development and execution of an effective sourcing and supply chain management strategy to support the business enterprise. She has more than 26 years of procurement and supply chain management across various industries. Gloss joins SRC from Moog, Inc., where she worked as the space and defense group supply chain director. She earned an MBA, with a concentration in supply chain, from Canisius College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gannon University.
