Chapman comes to MPW with a strong background in client services, project management, and organization. She previously held roles as career advisor and associate director of career development at Colgate University in Hamilton, where she advised students and alumni how to market themselves to potential employers. Chapman has also served as an online instructional assistant professor at the University of Mississippi for the past two years and an online instructor at Augusta University for the past year. She has a doctorate in higher education administration and a master’s degree in education (counselor education) from the University of Mississippi; an honors degree in psychology from the Stellenbosch University; and a bachelor’s degree in human physiology, genetics, and psychology from the University of Pretoria, both in South Africa.

Kamp started his career at TBWA and then spent nine years at J. Walter Thompson as a senior partner and creative director. CenterState CEO has hired two new employees for its Innovation and Entrepreneurship portfolio: SARAH HOOD as director of the Clean Tech Center at the Tech Garden and JOE ROMANO as resource manager responsible for the development, management, and expansion of business, technical, and financial resources for the members of the Tech Garden. Additionally, JEFF FUCHSBERG has been named as the new director of Genius NY.
Hood most recently served as program manager for Saab Corporation and also served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. She earned an MBA from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications from Jacksonville State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, class of 2019.
Romano is managing a system to vet, receive feedback on, and engage with Tech Garden members’ requests or needs. Additionally, he is an entrepreneur in residence at the Tech Garden. Romano most recently served as an information technology solution provider consulting with small to medium-sized companies on technology management, technology planning, business process improvement, and the operations of medium to high-technologies businesses. As director of GeniusNY, Fuchsberg manages the programming and support for companies in the Genius NY program, administered by CenterState CEO’s Tech Garden. He recently served as senior director of innovation projects at the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation in El Paso, Texas.
Fuchsberg holds a bachelor’s degree in entomology with distinction in research, from Cornell University, and a juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law with an advanced certificate in technology commercialization law from the New York State Science & Technology Law Center.
