NORWICH — NBT Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Joseph Stagliano announced that Nageshwara Ammiraju has joined NBT Bancorp as senior vice president and director of digital banking.
In this role, Ammiraju is responsible for developing, monitoring, and evaluating NBT Bank’s web and digital customer service channels.
Prior to joining NBT Bank, Ammiraju was a consultant for the state of Ohio where he developed the state’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Safety, and Driver’s License Portal. Previously, he served as vice president of applications development at J.P. Morgan Chase where he was instrumental in the design and development of electronic-service solutions.

Ammiraju earned his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Osmania University, India.
