SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — The National Women’s Hall of Fame (NWHF) has announced the election of two new board members and its new officers for 2015.
Menzo D. Case, of Seneca Falls, and Nadia N. Shahram, of Williamsville, were elected to the board of NWHF, a nonprofit membership organization, based in Seneca Falls, that says it recognizes and celebrates the achievements of great American women.
Case is president & CEO of Generations Bank and Generations Agency based in Seneca Falls. He serves on a number of nonprofit boards in the Finger Lakes, including Habitat for Humanity of Seneca County, Finger Lakes Health, Seneca Falls Economic Development Corp., and the Merry-Go-Round Theater, the NWHF said in a news release.

Nadia N. Shahram is a family mediator at the Rochester Mediation Center in Rochester, and has been a practicing attorney in the field of matrimonial mediation for the past 15 years. She is a board member of the Family Justice Center of Erie County, a member of Women and Erie County Bar Associations and a board member of the New York State Council of Divorce Mediation. She has served on a number of advisory boards and has collaborated with numerous cultural, civic, humanitarian and educational organizations including the International Institute of Buffalo, Journey’s End Refugee Services and the YWCA of Niagara County, the release stated. Shahram is founder and president of the Coalition for the Advancement of Moslem Women.
The NWHF also announced it has elected the following officers for 2015: Jeanne M. Giovannini, of Seneca Falls, as president, succeeding Jill S. Tietjen, who has been named the new CEO of the NWHF; Eileen Hartmann of Pittsford as vice president; Rona Carr of New York City as secretary; and Marianne O’Connor of Auburn as treasurer.
