UTICA, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Association of Realtors (MVAR) recently presented more than $17,580 to Sitrin for its military program.
The Sitrin program provides complimentary, comprehensive care for post-9/11 veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, depression, anxiety, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and other combat-related conditions.
MVAR generated the funds through its annual golf tournament, held Aug. 4, which also included prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and more. To date, MVAR has contributed more than $113,000 from golf tournament proceeds to Sitrin’s military program.
