SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Miss Prissy’s, one of the eight original tenants of the Salt City Market, has signed a lease for its future storefront at 431 S. Warren St. in Syracuse.
The Salt City Market is located at 484 S. Salina St. in Syracuse.
In addition, Miss Prissy’s also says it’s signed on with the Mainvest platform where it can raise capital-investment funding through local investors, per its news release.

Established in 2017, owners Dreamer Glen and Cyrus Thornton say “customer demand” for their American soul food prompted the decision to pursue the new space. The new home for Miss Prissy’s will include 3,000 square feet with table and lounge seating for about 70 guests, bar and counter seating for 12 guests, and a private meeting room for special engagements and mealtime meetings.
Through Mainvest, Miss Prissy’s is looking to raise at least $50,000 with investments starting at $100 through the local community and investors by June 16. By supporting Miss Prissy’s, investors can “find pride in investing their funds into local businesses, where the return on their investment stays local to the Syracuse community.”
