Microdrones, a Germany–based firm with an office at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, says it has a distributor agreement for its drone-surveying equipment with a Vietnam–based firm.
Microdrones describes Survey Technology & Trading Joint Stock Company (Sujcom) of Hanoi, Vietnam as a “well-known supplier of surveying equipment, measuring devices and services,” per its news release.
Sujcom has been in the surveying business since 2000, supplying surveying equipment and services to the entire Vietnamese market including Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forest Development. The company also specializes in cadastral measurement projects, scale topography, land registration, and the preparation and completion of cadastral documents.

Drone Surveying equipment from Microdrones is very well known to customers throughout the world,” Nhu Khoa said in a release. “The demand for these integrated systems is increasing and we have customers from the Ministry of Defense and Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forest Development who are interested in drone LiDAR solutions, like the mdLiDAR1000 aaS and mdLiDAR3000 aaS, which help to generate 3D models.”
Sujcom will now offer Microdrones Integrated Systems that come with “everything a commercial user needs to get started” using drones for surveying and mapping. That includes the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), or drone; the sensors, and the software and hardware.
