Michael W. Hartwell, CPA has been promoted to principal in the tax department of FustCharles. He provides income-tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to proprietorships, partnerships and corporations, and the owners and executives associated with such entities. Hartwell focuses on commercial clients utilizing pass-through entities, such as partnerships and S-corporations, and is also involved in the delivery of tax services to the firm’s not-for-profit organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and serves as treasurer on the Onondaga Historical Association board of directors. He is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and resides in Cicero. Hartwell joined the accounting firm in 2015.
