YORKVILLE — Meyda Custom Lighting installed new hydraulic press brake equipment to help reduce lead times and expand the company’s custom capabilities.
The new brake bends all types of metals including steel, brass, copper, and bronze to create hardware and frames for a wide range of custom lighting fixtures and portable lamps. The new equipment enables hyper-precision bending of metal up to 8 feet in length and is computer-numerical controlled (CNC) by engineers that program the fixtures’ exact specifications prior to production.
