FORT PLAIN — NBT Bancorp subsidiary Mang Insurance Agency, LLC has acquired Harvey-Triumpho Insurance Agency of Fort Plain. Going forward, the agency will do business as NBT Insurance Agency.
“We are pleased to report that members of the Harvey-Triumpho Agency staff will remain actively involved in our organization,” Mang President and CEO Rick Mirabito said in a news release, announcing the deal. NBT did not provide information on the number of employees or financial terms of the deal.
“Joining the NBT family of companies will benefit current and new customers,” David Briggs, president of Harvey-Triumpho said.
