CLAY, N.Y. — LongHorn Steakhouse is set to open its 6,300-square-foot restaurant on Route 31 in Clay on Monday, Oct. 6.
The eatery will create between 80 and 100 new jobs and seat more than 240 diners, according to a company news release.
LongHorn Steakhouse has a formal opening planned for Monday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Besides Clay, LongHorn also has plans for a Camillus location that is scheduled to open Nov. 17, the restaurant chain said in response to an email inquiry from the Business Journal News Network.
LongHorn currently operates more than 460 restaurants in 40 states.
Orlando, Fla.–based Darden Restaurants, Inc., (NYSE: DRI) owns LongHorn Steakhouse. The company also owns and operates more than 2,100 restaurants that generate over $8.5 billion in annual sales.
Darden’s brands also include Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, Eddie V’s, and Yard House, according to the company website.
Darden employs more than 200,000 people.
