Kuhl has more than 15 years of experience in travel and tourism including regional, national, and international tourism-promotion initiatives across both private and public sectors. Her previous jobs include serving as owner of Tastefully Nicaragua, a gastronomy- based tour operator and director of tourism & hospitality operations for Selva Negra Ecolodge, per the release.
She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University, a master’s degree in tourism destination management from New York University, and a food service management certificate from Cornell University. Kuhl is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational German.
“I am excited to start this new journey alongside talented and passionate tourism professionals and look forward to helping promote all the amazing places that Cayuga County has to offer,” Kuhl said in the release.
