The company will open its new store at 406 Butternut St. next Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7 a.m., according to a news release. It will host a formal store grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Kinney Drugs’ location at St. Joseph’s was about 4,000 square feet and had just a pharmacy, according to a Kinney Drugs spokeswoman. The Butternut Street venue encompasses 11,550 square feet and will be a pharmacy and retail store. The new location will offer a larger selection of products, including over-the-counter medicines and home medical equipment, according to the news release.
