HERKIMER, N.Y. — Herkimer County Community College in-state tuition rates and fees will remain the same for the 2022-2023 academic year at $2,558 tuition for full-time students and $180 per credit hour for part-time students.
The decision to freeze in-state tuition and fees reflects the college’s commitment to maintaining an affordable and accessible higher education opportunity for students, according to Herkimer College President Cathleen McColgin, Ph.D.
“We acknowledge the continuing financial hardships faced by many students and their families due to the coronavirus pandemic and exacerbated by the current inflationary situation,” she said in a news release. “We provide high quality, accessible educational opportunities for all, and this tuition freeze is one way we can demonstrate this commitment. We are grateful for the support of the Herkimer College Board of Trustees toward this priority.”
