SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Frontier Airlines plans to launch year-round, nonstop service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport to Miami International Airport beginning Nov. 1.
Frontier will offer twice-weekly service from Syracuse to Miami, the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) announced.
“We are pleased to see Frontier Airlines add another great leisure destination to their nonstop offerings out of Syracuse,” Jason Terreri, executive director of Syracuse Hancock International Airport, said. “Central New Yorkers — regardless of time of year — will now be able to escape to South Florida in a matter of a few hours.”

With this announcement, Frontier joins American Airlines as carriers planning to provide nonstop service from Syracuse to Miami. Of the 27 nonstop destinations available from Hancock, nine are to the state of Florida, the SRAA said.
